Khaja Moinuddin

Khaja Moinuddin was appointed Trustee in November of 2016 and elected to the position in April of 2017. Khaja is a civil engineer by profession and brings with him over 20 years of experience in the field of environmental and civil engineering.  Throughout his career, he has worked with several federal, state, and regional governmental agencies such as Army Corps of Engineers, Illinois Department of Natural Resources, and several other municipalities on various capital improvement projects.


 


He served on the Zoning Board of Appeals for the Village of Streamwood from 2009 to 2015. Since 2015, he has served on the Poplar Creek Library District Board as a Trustee.


 


Khaja has a strong desire for helping others and giving back to the community. He plans on using his very diverse background of experience to help and guide the Township in various fields from budgeting, economics, to planning and implementation toward the most efficie
